A significant late season winter storm begins late Friday. What: Snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm. Significantly reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow. When: Beginning Friday afternoon or evening and continuing through Saturday night. Discussion: Snow, at times heavy, is expected to move into the area late Friday. Strong winds gusting up to 70 km/h will develop Saturday afternoon. These strong winds combined with the falling snow will produce significantly reduced visibility in blowing snow. ### Travel will likely be challenging.
