The first heat event of the season will begin Friday afternoon. A two day heat event is expected to begin Friday. Daytime highs of 29 to 34 degrees Celsius are expected Friday and Saturday with overnight low temperatures near 18 degrees Celsius. The heat event may continue into Sunday for some regions, however there is still uncertainty Saturday night with the overnight low temperatures. ### Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
