A winter storm is expected. What: - 15 centimetres of snow expected - strong winds - near-zero visibilities in heavy snow and local blowing snow - period of freezing rain When: until midday Tuesday Additional information: Snow will gradually change to freezing rain on Tuesday morning. A period of rain is expected later on. Temperatures will then drop rapidly late in the day on Tuesday and high westerly winds will develop. ### Travel will likely be challenging. Yellow Warning - Wind

Strong southwesterly winds gusting to nearly 90 kilometres per hour are expected Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening. Along with these winds, temperatures are expected to fall by as much as 12 degrees in 3 hours. Temperatures will continue to fall gradually overnight. The combination of strong winds and low temperatures will produce wind chill values near -45 on Wednesday morning. ### Some property damage is possible.
