Time span: continuing into Thursday.

Maximum daytime temperatures: near 30 degrees Celsius (Humidex  near 35.)

Minimum overnight temperatures: 20 degrees Celsius.

Locations: Prince Edward Island.

Remarks: A combination of very high temperatures and elevated humidity is expected to continue through to Thursday, with temperatures moderating Thursday night with the passage of a weak cold front.
