Yellow Warning - Freezing Rain

Freezing rain is expected over some areas. Locations: Portions of southern Saskatchewan including southwestern Manitoba, extending from the east of Kindersley, southeast through Regina, and to the US border southeast of Estevan into southwestern Manitoba. Freezing rain duration: Beginning early Tuesday morning until Tuesday afternoon. Remarks: A low pressure system from Alberta will bring a large swath of freezing rain to portions of southern Saskatchewan beginning Tuesday morning and is expected to taper off by Tuesday afternoon. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
