First heat event of the season begins today. A two-day heat event will begin today. Daytime highs of 29 to 34 degrees Celsius are expected, with overnight low temperatures near 18 degrees Celsius. This heat event may continue into Sunday for some regions, however, there is uncertainty with overnight low temperatures for Saturday night. ### Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
