50 to 80 mm of rain is likely by Friday afternoon.

A spring rainstorm is on the way for parts of southeast Saskatchewan.  Rain will begin this evening with showers and thunderstorms, and then steady rain with a few rumbles of thunder will continue on and off until Friday afternoon.  Total amounts of rain will range from 50 to 80 mm, with the heaviest amounts likely near the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border.
