Rain and thunderstorms expected for the weekend

What: Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are expected. However, additional rainfall produced by thunderstorms may lead to total rainfall amounts exceeding 50 millimetres locally.

When:
Areas of Western Quebec: Friday afternoon to overnight Saturday night.
Areas of Southern and Central Quebec: Friday evening to Sunday morning.

Where: the Montreal, Montérégie, Eastern Townships, Bois-Francs, Lanaudière, Laurentians, Outaouais and Témiscamingue areas.

Additional information:
A weather system will move across Southern Quebec this weekend. This system could produce significant rainfall amounts from Friday to Sunday. The heaviest precipitation is expected from Friday evening to Saturday evening.

Water may accumulate in some areas. Some rivers may see an increased flow and higher water levels.
