Yellow Warning - Snowfall

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected. When: Now through late Tuesday morning. Where: B.C. Peace River Additional information: A frontal system is crossing northern B.C. and brings heavy snow at times to the region. Snowfall amounts will vary widely across the region. Some areas may see up to 15 cm of snow whereas some areas may see little. Patchy rain and snow will become persistent snow as the cold front passes through this evening. Driving conditions and visibilities will deteriorate quickly with the passage of the cold front as snowfall rates are expected to peak with up to 3 cm per hour. Snow will taper off by Tuesday afternoon as the system exits the region. ### Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
