Daytime high temperatures will be near 31 degrees today.

Some relief from the heat is possible tonight, with temperatures expected to fall in the low teens in much of the region.

Warm conditions are forecast next week as well.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
