Issued: 8:44 PM Jul. 3, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
A hot and humid air mass has moved into southern Manitoba, with the most humid weather of the summer, so far, expected by Friday.

Temperatures in the low thirties and humidex values in the 35 to 40 range were reported throughout parts of southern Manitoba Thursday afternoon and will continue into the evening. Little relief will be felt Thursday night as overnight lows hover around 20 degrees.

Friday will also be hot and humid, with humidex values expected to be near 40.

Relief is expected by Saturday as a cold front tracks through the province on Friday night.

Along with the heat and humidity, thunderstorms are possible throughout southern Manitoba Thursday night and Friday.
