A period of ice pellets and freezing rain expected today and tonight.

Timing: this morning until this evening.

Freezing rain duration:  2 to 4 hours and possibly longer.

Remarks: Snow will begin this morning then transition into ice pellets mid-day and to freezing rain later in the day.  Freezing precipitation will end this evening.

Accumulations of snow and ice may create slippery and hazardous travel or walking conditions.

Consider adjusting travel plans to avoid the most adverse conditions.
