A long period of snowfall with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected.

What: Heavy snow and reduced visibility.

Where: Whitehorse, Teslin, and Atlin. 

When: Saturday morning through Sunday.

Remarks: An approaching storm system will bring snow to the area beginning early Saturday morning. Snow will intensify Saturday and continue Sunday. By early Sunday morning, total snowfall amounts near 15 cm can be expected.

More snow may be on the way Sunday night and Monday as another system is forecast to arrive.
