Time span: continuing today.

Maximum daytime temperatures: near 30 degrees Celsius (Humidex near 36), except cooler along parts of the coast.

Locations: Inland parts of mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.

Remarks: A combination of very high temperatures and elevated humidity is expected to continue today. Conditions will moderate tonight with the passage of a cold front.
