Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected in some locations.

Another Alberta Clipper will give snow, blowing snow and gusty winds to parts of Saskatchewan today.

What:  Reduced visibilities in blowing snow.

Timing:  Much of today

Total snowfall:  5 to 12 cm, with higher amounts over the northern Grainbelt and eastern regions.

Wind gusts:  southerly gusts as high as 60-70 km/h this morning; westerly gusts as high as 70-80 km/h this afternoon and evening.

Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Road closures are possible.

Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected.
