A long duration heat event will continue this week. Overnight low temperatures ranging between 9 to 13 degrees will offer some relief from the heat. Consider rescheduling outdoor activities to the morning or evening, when temperatures will be cooler. Extreme heat can affect everyone's health. Watch for signs of heat exahustion in yourself and others. Signs may include headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine and intense fatigue. Heat warnings may be expanded in the coming days as the event unfolds. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
