Yellow Advisory - Weather
Issued: 9:20 AM Dec. 12, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Winter weather travel advisory in effect. What: Potentially difficult road conditions due to blowing snow and accumulating snow on roads. When: Today. Additional information: Winds gusting up to 60 kilometres per hour will whip up the snow from the ground and produce blowing snow, mainly on exposed roads. Low visibilities are expected at times. Winds could also cause snowdrifts to develop and produce local snowfall accumulations. ### Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to QCstorm@ec.gc.ca or post reports on X using #QCStorm.
