Yellow Warning - Winter Storm

A winter storm is expected. What: Total amounts of 20 to 30 centimetres of snow and ice pellets over a 24-hour period. Strong winds reaching between 50 and 70 kilometres per hour. Blowing snow resulting in very poor visibilities. From 2 to 5 mm of freezing rain. When: Wednesday to Thursday Where: La Tuque, Laurentian Wildlife Reserve, Charlevoix, Saguenay, Kamouraska, Témiscouata and Rimouski. Additional information: Precipitation will begin as snow and will be accompanied by blowing snow. Afterwards, in some places, the snow will change to freezing rain late Wednesday before changing back to snow on Thursday. ### Travel will likely be challenging. Road closures are possible.
