Locations: Digby, Annapolis, Kings, Hants, Colchester, Pictou, Antigonish, and Cumberland Counties.

Time span: until this afternoon.

Remarks: Precipitation will fall mainly as snow inland and over higher terrain. A mixture of snow and rain may occur elsewhere, especially along the immediate coast. The snow is expected to be wet and heavy.

There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Visibility may be reduced at times.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
