Yellow Advisory - Blowing Snow
Issued: 1:21 AM Dec. 29, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected in some locations. Strong northwesterly winds combined with snow fallen earlier today is bringing reduced visibilities in blowing snow this evening across the Red River Valley in areas mostly south of Winnipeg. Visibilities will improve later evening as winds diminish. ### Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
