...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Norton Sound and Nulato Hills, Interior Seward Peninsula, Lower Koyukuk Valley, Lower Yukon and Innoko Valleys, Middle Yukon Valley, North Slopes of the Western Alaska Range, Southern Seward Peninsula Coast, and Upper Kuskokwim Valley. * WHEN...Until noon AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The additional 2 to 5 inches of snow will arrive tonight and continue through early Sunday afternoon. There will be a break, then another front will arrive late Monday night with periods of snow persisting through Wednesday night. This has the potential to bring additional snow accumulations of 6 inches or more to the Western Interior. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
