...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 354 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following counties, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino. * WHEN...Until 354 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 242 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Anaheim, Riverside, San Bernardino, Fontana, Moreno Valley, Ontario, Corona, Rialto, Chino and Redlands. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. For Tuesday night into Wednesday, southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 45 mph expected. * WHERE...Orange County Coastal Areas, Orange County Inland Areas, San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire, San Diego County Coastal Areas, San Diego County Valleys, and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills. * WHEN...For the first Wind Advisory, until 8 PM PST this evening. For the second Wind Advisory, from 8 PM Tuesday to 8 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
