Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and northeasterly winds are expected during Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Riverina and Lower Western forecast districts and parts of the Central West Slopes & Plains, South West Slopes, Upper Western, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

For SNOWY MOUNTAINS above 1500 metres: DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h are likely from late Sunday morning.
For ALPINE AREAS above 1900 metres: DAMAGING WINDS averaging 80 to 90 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 125 km/h are likely from late Sunday morning.
Locations which may be affected include Perisher Valley, Charlotte Pass, Thredbo Top Station, Cabramurra and Selwyn.
