Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Manjimup, Margaret River, Merredin, Mount Magnet, Narrogin and Busselton. Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Lower West district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED. 94 km/h wind gust was recorded at Pearce at 4:10 pm. 100 km/h wind gust was recorded at Perth Airport at 4:03 pm. 25.6 mm of rainfall was recorded at Long Pool in the 1 hour to 3:50 pm. 107 km/h wind gust was recorded at Ejanding at 3:38 pm. 94 km/h wind gust was recorded at Meekatharra at 2:55 pm. 92 km/h wind gust was recorded at Moora at 2:54 pm.

Maximum temperatures in the mid thirties to low forties and overnight minimum temperatures in the mid teens to mid twenties.
Severe heatwave conditions will continue over the southwest before contracting to eastern parts of WA by the middle of the week as a trough moves inland from the west coast.
Severe heatwave conditions have eased over the Lower West, however low intensity heatwave conditions may linger for the next few days.
