Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Friday and Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include the Illawarra, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Riverina, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts and parts of the Mid North Coast, Hunter, Northern Tablelands, South Coast, North West Slopes & Plains, Central West Slopes & Plains and Lower Western forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
