DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of up to 100 km/h remain possible about the alpine ranges overnight into the early hours. Winds are forecast to ease below warning thresholds before dawn on Wednesday. Locations which may be affected include Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller. 93 km/h wind gust recorded at Mount Buller Airport at 10:06pm Tuesday. 94 km/h wind gust observed at Mount Hotham AWS at 7:03pm Tuesday.
