Severe Weather Warning for Damaging Wind

Strong northwesterly winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS around 100 km/h are likely to develop over parts of the East Coast district during early Thursday morning.
Winds will ease below warning thresholds by early Thursday afternoon.
On Friday morning, in the wake of the cold front, another vigorous northwesterly flow is expected to develop associated with a low-pressure system that will pass to the south of the state. This will likely see a Severe Weather Warning for DAMAGING WINDS re-issued to broader areas of the state for Friday.
Locations which may be affected include Swansea.
