Severe Weather Warning for Damaging Wind

For SOUTHERN and CENTRAL RANGES, including the SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS: Strong winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of around 90 km/h are possible tonight and into early Friday morning. For parts of the ILLAWARRA COAST: DAMAGING WIND GUSTS in excess of 90 km/h are possible tonight and into early Friday morning. For NORTHERN RANGES above 1000 metres: Strong winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of around 90 km/h are possible tonight and into early Friday morning. Winds are expected to ease about the Southern and Central Tablelands and Illawarra early Friday morning, and about the remainder of the warning area by late Friday morning. Locations which may be affected include Wollongong, Goulburn, Nowra, Katoomba, Bowral, Braidwood, Dorrigo, Drake, Ebor, Nowendoc, Barrington Tops and Bulli.
