West to southwesterly DAMAGING WINDS averaging 55 to 65 km/h with gusts to around 100 km/h, which may cause damage to homes and property, are possible about coastal parts of the South West Land Division including the Perth area.
Winds are expected to ease over western districts including Perth during the evening, with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS likely to continue about the south coast until around midnight.
