Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in parts of the Metropolitan, Illawarra and Central Tablelands districts. Locations which may be affected include Penrith and Springwood.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds over the next several hours in the Riverina and parts of the Lower Western and Central West Slopes and Plains districts. Locations which may be affected include Deniliquin, Griffith, Hay, Wentworth, Narrandera and Balranald.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Southern Tablelands district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.
A 100 km/h wind gust was observed at High Range at 4:15 pm.
