          Maximum temperatures range from high twenties to low thirties over the Southeast Coast, gradually increasing inland and reaching mid forties over the Channel Country. Maximum temperature will  increase to high thirties to mid forties over most parts of the  warning areas by Monday. Overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to low twenties over the Southeast Coast, gradually increasing inland and reaching  high twenties to low thirties in the Channel Country.  

Severe heatwave conditions will intensify and extend through most of southern QLD during the weekend, and expected to continue until at least mid next week.   Locations likely to be impacted include Brisbane Metropolitan Area, Birdsville, Cunnamulla, Goondiwindi, Ipswich, Roma, Stanthorpe, St George, Warwick and Windorah.
