Strong Wind Warning for South East Gulf of Carpentaria, Peninsula Coast, Capricornia Coast, Hervey Bay, K'gari Coast and Moreton Bay

Strong southerly winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of around 90 km/h are possible over the southern Moreton Bay islands and elevated parts of the Main Range and Border Ranges from this afternoon.
Winds are forecast to ease below warning thresholds by early hours of Monday morning.

Locations which may be affected include Springbrook and North Stradbroke Island.
