DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of around 100 km/h are occurring about areas above 1000 metres in western parts of the state and expected to extend over the eastern ranges this morning.
Winds are expected to ease from the west on late this morning.
Locations which may be affected include Mount William, Mount Gellibrand, Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller.
