DAMAGING WIND GUSTS with peak gusts around 90 km/h are possible after sunrise, mainly about the Mt Lofty Ranges and Flinders Ranges, extending throughout the warning area during the afternoon.
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS with peak gusts to 100 km/h are likely with thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening.
Winds are expected to ease below thresholds during Friday evening.
Locations which may be affected include Whyalla, Renmark, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Clare and Murray Bridge.

          A prolonged period of heat is continuing over South Australia this week.  

Maximum temperatures in the high thirties to mid forties, dropping to the low to mid twenties in the south over the weekend. Overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to high twenties, dropping to the low to mid teens from the south into the weekend.   

Severe heatwave conditions peaking across the State currently, before easing following the passage of a cold front moving over the State from Friday.   Locations likely to be impacted include Adelaide Metropolitan Area, Clare, Maitland, Mount Barker, Murray Bridge, Narracoorte, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Renmark and the Barossa Valley.
