Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds over the next several hours in parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett and Southeast Coast districts. Locations which may be affected include Maroochydore, Gympie, Gayndah, Redcliffe, Nanango and Caboolture.

These thunderstorms are moving towards the east to northeast. They are forecast to affect Strathpine and the area northeast of Kingaroy by 6:25 pm and Caboolture, Aspley and Boondall by 6:40 pm.
