Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, heavy rain and showers and northerly winds are expected during Sunday night and Monday. Areas likely to be affected include the North Central and North East forecast districts and parts of the Northern Country, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

For the NORTHEAST RANGES and ALPINE AREAS: DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of around 100 km/h are likely. Winds may gust to 110 km/h about higher peaks. HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is also expected. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 60 to 80mm are likely. Conditions are expected to ease by around sunrise on Monday morning.
Conditions have eased over the Macedon and Central Ranges. The warning has been cancelled for these areas, but conditions will be monitored for moderate rainfall overnight.

61.8 mm of rainfall recorded at Handcocks in 6 hours to 9:30 pm
