          Maximum temperatures in the low to high thirties, reaching the low forties about western parts of the Darling Downs and Granite Belt, with overnight minimum temperatures in high teens to mid twenties. 

Severe heatwave conditions are likely to ease late next week, reaching a peak this weekend and the early part of next week. Locations likely to be impacted include Brisbane Metropolitan Area, Beaudesert, Boonah, Caboolture, Caloundra, Esk, Goondiwindi, Ipswich, Stanthorpe and Warwick.
