Sheep Graziers Warning

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and westerly winds are expected during today and Friday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Northern Tablelands, Illawarra and Snowy Mountains forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
Severe Weather Warning for Damaging Wind

Strong to DAMAGING WEST TO SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS averaging 55 to 65 km/h with peak gusts of around 100 km/h are likely about parts of the Northern Tablelands, the Mid North Coast hinterland and about the Border Ranges, and are expected to ease later this morning. A separate Coastal Hazard Warning is also current for parts of the NSW coast. Refer to: http://www.bom.gov.au/nsw/warnings/ Locations which may be affected include eastern Sydney Metropolitan, Wollongong, Ulladulla, and Tenterfield. Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Hunter, Metropolitan, Illawarra and South Coast districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED. Significant wind observations: 104 km/h gust was recorded at Montague Island Lighthouse at 10:45 am. 93 km/h gust was recorded at Point Perpendicular at 1:04 pm.
