DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts around 100 km/h are likely to develop about the Main Range, Granite Belt, Scenic Rim and adjacent eastwards slopes today.
Subject to the position and strength of the low pressure system, DAMAGING WINDS may persist for parts of southeast Queensland until Thursday morning.
Locations which may be affected include Stanthorpe, Springbrook and Crows Nest.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Wednesday and Thursday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Darling Downs and Granite Belt forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
