Severe Weather Warning for Damaging Wind

DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of up to 100 km/h are expected to develop about the Mount Lofty Ranges in the early hours of Tuesday morning, before extending throughout the rest of the warning area around sunrise. Winds are forecast to ease about the coastal areas, including Kangaroo Island, in the early afternoon. Winds about the elevated areas are expected to ease by late afternoon. Locations which may be affected include Murray Bridge, Kingscote, Victor Harbor, Meningie, Jamestown and Burra.
Sheep Graziers Warning

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers, and strong westerly winds are expected during Tuesday. Areas likely to be affected include the Mount Lofty Ranges, Kangaroo Island and Lower South East forecast districts and parts of the Lower Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and Mid North forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
