          Maximum temperatures in the mid thirties up to the low forties about northern districts. Overnight minimum temperatures in the mid to high teens, reaching up to the mid twenties about the northwest Thursday night. 

Severe heatwave conditions are expected to peak on Thursday and Friday before easing into the weekend from the south as milder southeast to southwesterly winds extend across the State.  Locations likely to be impacted include Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Bright, Corryong, Mansfield, Mallacoota, Omeo, Shepparton, Seymour and Wangaratta.
