Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and northeasterly winds are expected during Friday. Areas likely to be affected include the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central and South West forecast districts and parts of the Central forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

Severe frosts with temperatures down to -3 degrees which can cause significant crop damage are forecast for Thursday morning in parts of the Northern Country and North Central forecast districts.
