Maximum temperatures in the high thirties to mid forties and overnight minimum temperatures in the mid twenties over the Gascoyne.
Maximum temperatures ranging from the mid thirties to low forties and overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to mid twenties over southwestern districts.
Severe heatwave conditions are expected to shift towards the southwest, intensify over the weekend, and persist over southern WA into next week.
Severe heatwave conditions over the South Interior have eased, however low intensity heatwave conditions may linger for the next few days.
