Strong Wind Warning for Sydney Enclosed Waters, Coffs Coast, Macquarie Coast, Hunter Coast, Sydney Coast, Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast

        Maximum temperatures in the high thirties to low forties, reaching the mid forties in the southwest on Thursday and Friday. Overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to mid twenties, reaching the high twenties in the west Friday morning.  

The severe to extreme heatwave will gradually ease from the west during the weekend as a southwest to southerly change brings milder temperatures.
