Severe frosts with temperatures down to -5 degrees which can cause significant crop damage are forecast for Saturday morning in parts of the Northern Country, North East and East Gippsland forecast districts.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures and southeasterly winds are expected during Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the North East forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
