Severe Heatwave Watch

Maximum temperatures broadly in the high thirties to high forties, extending over coastal parts on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Overnight minimum temperatures in the high twenties to low thirties across the pastoral areas and in the mid teens to mid twenties otherwise.
Severe to locally extreme heatwave conditions will persist for an extended period. A significant easing of heatwave conditions is not expected until towards the late weekend.
Severe heatwave conditions are no longer expected over the Kangaroo Island and Upper South East districts, however low intensity heatwave conditions will persist in these districts until later in the week. Locations likely to be impacted include Clare, Jamestown, Leigh Creek, Mount Barker, Moomba, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Renmark, Roxby Downs and the Barossa Valley.
