Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the South West and West and South Gippsland forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
Severe Heatwave Watch

          Maximum temperatures in the mid thirties up to the low forties about the northern districts. Overnight minimum temperatures in the mid to high teens over northern and eastern districts, and in the low to mid teens about southern districts.  

Severe heatwave conditions will contract to the northeast and ease over the weekend as milder southeast to southwesterly winds extend across the State.   Locations likely to be impacted include Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Echuca, Gisborne, Mildura, Maryborough, Ouyen, Shepparton, Seymour and Wangaratta.
