Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in parts of the Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast and Northern Tablelands districts. Locations which may be affected include Grafton, Copmanhurst, Coutts Crossing, Nymboida and Ulmarra.

Severe heatwave conditions building over northeast parts of the state are expected to gradually ease later this week or over the weekend. 

Severe heatwave conditions over the Upper Western district have eased however Low Intensity heatwave conditions are expected through the week.
