DAMAGING WINDS averaging 50 to 65 km/h with peak gusts of around 100 km/h are occurring over southern coastal areas between Windy Harbour and Israelite Bay. These winds are expected to ease from the west this evening, with conditions over the South East Coastal district expected to ease by the early hours of Tuesday morning.
This weather is typical for this time of year, although this will be the windiest front of the year so far.
Locations which may be affected include Albany, Esperance, Mount Barker, Israelite Bay, Walpole and Bremer Bay.
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Goldfields, Central West, Lower West and Central Wheat Belt districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.

Sustained winds of 63 km/h were recorded at Ocean Reef around 9am

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and strong westerly winds are expected during Monday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the South Coastal and South East Coastal forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
