* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and southeast Georgia,
including the following counties, in central Georgia, Baldwin,
Bibb, Bleckley, Crisp, Dodge, Dooly, Houston, Jones, Laurens,
Montgomery, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Telfair, Twiggs, Wheeler,
Wilcox and Wilkinson. In east central Georgia, Emanuel, Glascock,
Greene, Hancock, Jefferson, Johnson, Taliaferro, Treutlen, Warren,
Washington and Wilkes. In southeast Georgia, Toombs.

* WHEN...Through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rainfall from slow moving thunderstorms is expected
this afternoon through tomorrow. Widespread totals of 1-3"
are expected, with isolated areas seeing up to 5" of
rainfall. This could lead to flash flooding and river
flooding for the watch area.
